Register for the Spring 2025 Job and Internship Fair on February 18th, 2025 from 10a to 2p.

February 18th Registration

The Career Development Center invites employers to campus for our 2024-2025 Job and Internship Fairs.

Our fairs attract both undergrad and graduate majors seeking internships and career positions. Ranked among the top 5 percent of all U.S. higher education institutions for research, our students are making an impact in Southern Illinois and around the globe.

Spring 2025

NOTE: K-12 education majors, and SIU law and medical school students, do not attend this event. 

Registration 

Registration is through our online recruiting platform Handshake. All communication regarding this event will be sent through this platform. If you have any questions regarding setting up your account please email Nicole Wood, Employer Relations Coordinator at nicole.wood@siu.edu 

Confirmation emails include an invoice, shipping instructions, and a campus map. Parking passes will be emailed the week before the event.
Only emails that register will recieve the email updates - please add all contacts needed or make sure to forward all information from our department.

Registration Includes 

  • Networking Reception night before Job Fair (Please RSVP)
  • 6’ table and two chairs, registration for two reps
  • Continental breakfast, box lunch, and beverages throughout the day
  • Free parking and unloading/loading assistance
  • Table cover and name tags not included (we're eco-friendly)

Employer Rates

  • Non-Profit - $150
  • Government Agency - $275
  • New Employer - $325
  • Early-Bird - $375 (August 16th for Fall 2024 Job and Internship Fair)
  • Regular - $400
  • Same-Day - $450
  • Electrical Service - $30
  • The registration fee is non-refundable.
  • Deadline to be included in the employer list sent to faculty to be announced.
  • Employer lists are available to students in real-time via Handshake.

Travel and Lodging 

The SIU Carbondale campus is approximately 100 miles from St. Louis, 200 miles from Nashville, TN, and 300 miles from Chicago. Hotel accommodations can be made in Carbondale or Marion, IL (approximately 16 miles east of Carbondale and off of Interstate 57). We encourage you to make your lodging arrangements early.  Hotel discount rates are available in Carbondale.

SIU Safety Protocols

Masks are optional for campus visitors at this time.
